Organizational Structure:

Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is comprised of a representative from each of the participating agencies; the member of the Board is the Chief of Police of the agency or his or her designee. 

Executive Committee. The Executive Committee represents the Board of Directors in providing direction to the Metro SWAT Command Staff.

Command Staff. The Command Staff of Metro SWAT shall consist of a Team Commander and Assistant Team Commander(s). The Command Staff is responsible for establishing training guidelines and activities, expenditure of funds in accordance with the yearly budget, maintaining order and discipline in the unit, supervising the unit on tactical deployments and other duties as may be assigned by the Board of Directors or the Executive Committee and are delineated in the respective Position Descriptions.
